Brian Helmey is President and CEO of MB Helmey Consulting, LLC, a small management consulting business. He is a Strategic Program Management Consultant who serves business and IT leaders responsible for the success of their programs and transformation initiatives. Throughout his career, Brian has enjoyed opportunities to lead many, large-scale programs. Additionally, he has led professional services organizations in delivering IT and consulting projects. With these experiences, Brian built expertise across interrelated program management delivery skills including mentoring and training. Now he helps leaders successfully prepare for, launch, and execute strategic roadmaps and programs. Brian works with clients across both government and private sectors.

Before forming MB Helmey Consulting, Brian held executive leadership roles with several large technology companies including Lockheed Martin, IBM, Xerox, and Conduent. These roles have provided Brian unique opportunities to deliver solutions to address important, complex problems. Moreover, through these Brian developed a deep understanding of the challenges and pitfalls which organizations face in successfully delivering large-scale initiatives. First among these is the need for continuous focus on the business objectives that provide the reason for a program’s existence. He enjoys the opportunity to help other organizations achieve results, along with training and developing other future delivery leaders. Brian is located in Charleston, S.C.
